Peter Quillin battled to a hard-fought draw against Andy Lee in his PBC debut in April. Now Kid Chocolate looks to get back in the win column when he takes on Michael Zerafa in a meeting of 160-pound contenders September 12 live on NBC from Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT.

Peter Quillin and Andy Lee

Peter Quillin, left, had to settle for a draw against Andy Lee in April. Now he's ready to get back to his winning ways on September 12.

Quillin (31-0-1, 22 KOs) scored two knockdowns against Lee when they met April 11, but had to settle for a razor-thin split draw at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Michael Zerafa (17-1, 9 KOs) suffered his only loss to Arif Magomedov by unanimous decision in October 2014, but the 23-year-old has since bounced back with a pair of wins.

Zerafa will take on his biggest test to date in a 12-round bout against Peter Quillin, who will be trying to hold up his end of the bargain after being called out by Daniel Jacobs following Jacobs’ second-round stoppage of Sergio Mora on August 1.

"I'm ready and excited to return to the ring on NBC on September 12," Quillin said. "I'm already deep into training camp and preparing to be in the best shape of my career. I know my opponent is dangerous and he's coming to make a name for himself. I'm at the top of my game and I plan to stay there."

In the co-main event, 42-year-old Cornelius Bundrage (34-5, 19 KOs) will try to defend his 154-pound world title against Jermall Charlo (21-0, 16 KOs), who’s 17 years Bundrage’s junior at age 25.

"I want to thank my entire team for making this fight happen," Bundrage said. “I'm looking forward to my debut on PBC and successfully defending my second world title. Detroit is where the title is at, and it's not going anywhere. I will be ready to give my supporters all around the world a great performance."

Bundrage scored a wide decision over Carlos Molina in October, while the unbeaten Charlo shut out Michael Finney over 10 rounds in Las Vegas on March 28.

It was Charlo's first fight to go the distance since he won a four-round decision over Carlos Garcia in October 2009. The Texas native had stopped 14 consecutive opponents over the course of five years prior to winning the decision over Finney.

"This is my time; I've never been more ready for a fight," Charlo said. "I've dreamed about a fight like this for a long time and it's here in front of me. I will be spectacular and I will finish Cornelius Bundrage."
